Fun Fact Friday..Nikola Jokic has said, "I loved classes---math and history that's pretty much it. I didn't love physical activities. In high school, I couldn't do one pushup."🐎 He has loved horses since he was a kid. He did competitive horse racing as a teenager and now owns several competitive horses. 📺 Loves the TV show "Friends".🏀 While rehabbing his left ankle, Jokic tried not to put weight on that foot in practice shoot arounds. He developed a move called the "Sombor Shuffle" named for his hometown of Sombor. 💖 He hates Valentines Day, he says because love is an everyday thing not just a one day thing. 💓 👩❤️👨 His wife Natalija and he have been together since they were teenagers. They got married in 2020 and have a daughter named Ognjena.💍 Jokic wears his wedding band tied securely on one of his shoes every game.👶 He has a special celebration he does with his daughter where they both point to their ring fingers after games. 🤼♂️ He has two older brothers (very big older brothers) Strahinja and Nemanja and they are at every game. 🏀 Two weeks before the 2014 NBA Draft, Jokic's name was temporarily removed from the pool of candidates. The Nuggets promised to select him 41st if he reentered the Draft pool. 🌮 When his selection came up ESPN went to commercial. The Broncos played in the AFL's first regular season game, beating the Boston Patriots 13-10 in 1960.⭐ Gene Mingo---professional football's first African-American placekicker was a Bronco from 1960-1964.🔞 Number 18 was retired by the Broncos in 1963 to honor the club's original quarterback, Frank Tripucka. When Peyton Manning came to town in 2012, Tripuka gave his blessing and the number was un-retired for Manning. 📣 Robin Williams was the first male cheerleader in Denver Broncos history.
