Joel plots against Lauren in Coronation Street; Emmerdale's Kim is on the warpath and Priya takes on Nish in EastEnders...
Coronation Street
1. Jack’s surprise visitor
Kevin is surprised when Corey’s dad Stefan phones him and requests a meeting, offering to put an end to their feud. However, while Kevin is out, Stefan arrives at no.13 where Jack is home alone. Charming his way into the house, claiming to be a friend of Kev and Abi’s, it’s clear that Stefan is plotting something.
2. Amy's on the up
Amy is heading off on her retreat with The Institute and Rowan tells her she is destined for great things. While Leanne joins in the celebration, she can’t help feeling a pang of jealousy about the attention Rowan is showing Amy.
3. Happy families for Joel
Joel warns Dee Dee that his divorce is looking costly, so they will have to keep an eye on their wedding budget. However, things brighten up thanks to a visit from Joel’s daughter Maeve, with Dee Dee commenting that Joel is a natural father. However, the happy family is broken up when Lauren calls about a leak at the flat, and Joel is forced to take Maeve with him to sort things out.
4. The heat is on for Abi
Kevin is looking at an online news report about a fire at Stefan’s office. When he tells Abi about it, she’s quick to comment that Stefan had what’s coming to him. Kevin is left wondering if Abi knows more than she’s letting on about the fire.
5. Joel’s special delivery
Dee Dee takes delivery of a parcel at the flat that’s not addressed to either her or Joel. Puzzled, she leaves Joel a voice note asking if he knows anything about it. Joel is troubled when he picks up the note and it’s clear he knows exactly what the parcel contains…
6. Rowan turns the screws on Nick
Rowan explains to Nick that he is not going to press charges for assaulting him, however it comes at a price. Rowan reveals that he wants Nick to invest £20k in the Institute. Will Nick give in to his blackmail?
7. Is Abi an arsonist?
DS Swain questions Abi and Kev about the fire at Stefan’s office. While they both deny all knowledge, Swain produces doorbell camera evidence of Abi hanging around Stefan’s house. When Abi realises that Kev also suspects her, she is left upset.
8. Beth ups her dodgy game
Beth quietly gives Betsy her wages for her work on the first T-shirt batch. With Beth planning to surprise Kirk with a wedding, when she laments the cost of venues, Betsy suggests they need to step up the counterfeit business.
9. Joel plots a departure
Joel tells Lauren it won’t be long before he sets her up in her new place in Ireland. Later, he assures Dee Dee that she will soon have his undivided attention. There’s a shock for Lauren when she is mugged in the precinct, and while Joel feigns concern, it’s clear he’s working on his plan to get Lauren out of the picture for good.
10. Fiz’s blast from the past
Fiz is shocked to discover that the leader of a human trafficking group is going on trial and Tyrone’s ex Alina could be called as a witness. Hoping to get away from it all, Fiz tells Tyrone that she has found a good deal on a holiday but is crestfallen when Tyrone isn’t so keen.
11. Panic at Underworld
Beth’s plan goes awry when she discovers the box of counterfeit t-shirts is missing. When Kirk reveals he loaded it onto the delivery van, Beth is left in a panic. Soon, the race is on to track down the box before Carla discovers what Beth has been up to.
12. Horror for Lauren
Alone at the flat, Lauren doubles over in pain, clutching her stomach. As she collapses in agony, she’s relieved to hear Max at the door, who has tracked her to the flat. As he bangs on the door, Lauren cries for help. But can Max get to her before it’s too late?
Emmerdale
1. Ella’s baby fears
Vanessa is worried when pregnant Ella starts having stomach cramps at work. Prompting her to take it seriously, Vanessa persuades Ella to get checked out. However, when it’s Liam who ends up examining her, things are a little awkward.
2. Kim’s dodgy dealer
Kim meets up with the dealer who supplied the drugs to Rose, determined to find out the truth. While the dealer stays tight-lipped, Kim realises that Rose definitely isn’t the mastermind. Now she just has to work out who is really to blame for all the recent troubles…
3. Shock at the scan
When Ella’s taxi to her hospital scan lets her down, Liam ends up taking her. Once there, the pair are in for a shock when they discover there is no baby. Outraged, Liam accuses Ella of faking the whole thing and storms out before Ella can respond to his accusations.
4. Bad news for Caleb
Kim has set her sights on Caleb, and later whispers to Lydia that she has taken some revenge. Later, Caleb is shocked to learn of a fire at his work premises and is later questioned by the police, who suspect arson. Is Kim the one to blame?
5. Will Jai play dirty?
Bitter Jai is making Laurel’s life a misery at work and upsetting the other employees in the process. He’s also becoming increasingly convinced that Laurel is planning to fleece him in the divorce. Jai confides in Caleb, who advises him to play it canny when it comes to the break-up…
6. Kiss from a Rose!
With Kim absent from Home Farm, Rose is busy getting cosy with Will. Ruby pressures Rose into sleeping with Will and completing their plan. When Will is left smarting after Kim brushes him off to speak to Caleb, Rose spots her chance and moves in for the kill. Soon, the pair are kissing.
7. Kim finds the culprit
A chat with Caleb brings Kim to a realisation and she heads off to see Ruby. There, she confirms her suspicions that Ruby was behind the drugging plot and confronts her. However, Ruby is confident she has pulled off her plan and tells Kim that her marriage is over. But it’s clear that Kim is set to put up a fight.
8. Cain turns teacher
Worried about how Samson will cope in prison, Sam asks Aaron to have a talk with him. Cain overhears and decides action is what’s needed rather than words. Later, Sam and Lydia are shocked to see Cain goading and hitting out at Samson.
9. Moira’s fury
Cain is training Samson to handle prison life, with Samson hoping he will teach him how to fight dirty. When Moira comes upon the scene, she is furious to see Cain helping the lad who put Matty in prison. Branding Samson a thug, she grabs him in fury. Can Cain stop her before she goes too far?
10. Will and Kim take revenge?
Rose’s plan implodes when Kim marches back into Home Farm, all guns blazing and ready to deal with her enemy. Later, we see PC Swirling arrive at Home Farm enquiring after Rose’s welfare having found her abandoned handbag. Kim and Will both try to mask their guilt. What have they done to get Rose out of their lives?
EastEnders
1. Vinny steps up
Vinny is frustrated when Nish sidelines him from a business meeting. Suki advises him to be bold if he’s going to win Nish’s respect and push forward with their plan. So, Vinny crashes the meeting and charms the clients. When Priya upsets the meeting and bad-mouths Nish, Vinny takes action, throwing her out of the Panesar house, leaving Nish impressed.
2. Tommy lashes out
Tommy’s bad behaviour continues, leaving Kat at her wits’ end over what to do. Alfie suggests that she take a holiday, but Kat insists she needs to be there to keep Tommy in check. Later, it seems Kat is right when Tommy is rough with the twins.
3. Johnny to the rescue
Callum is downbeat when Kathy, Ian and Lexi go to visit Ben in the US, but he can’t get time off from work to join them. Johnny resolves to cheer him up and tries to persuade Callum to come on a night out and let off some steam, but Callum insists he’s not in the mood. Later, Callum is left further upset when he misses a call from Ben.
4. Hospital showdown
With Priya rejected by her family, she throws herself on Martin’s mercy. Later, she is determined to join Nugget at his next dialysis session, but Ravi bans her, so Priya teams up with Denzel, who manages to sneak her in. However, her plan is rumbled when Ravi and Nish arrive and soon all hell breaks loose.
5. Alfie takes action
After Kat confides in Alfie about her fears for Tommy, he decides to take a different tack with their son. Sitting Tommy down, he explains that he’s trying to persuade Kat to take a holiday, but she will only do it if he bucks up his ideas. When Kat arrives home, Tommy plays nice, and Alfie is pleased to have made progress.
6. Nish feels Priya’s wrath
Nish launches a vicious tirade on Priya at the hospital. Deciding enough is enough, Priya takes action. Priya lures Nish to the Minute Mart where she manages to handcuff him. With him now at her mercy, Priya insists that Nish make a video retracting her false claim that he slept with her. Will Nish give into her demands?
7. The Square Olympics!
Alfie decides to host a mini-Olympics on the Square to entertain the kids. However, Tommy is reluctant to take part. Desperate to persuade him, Alfie offers a cash prize for the winner. But will getting troublesome Tommy involved end in more agro?
8. Chelsea’s housing crisis
Chelsea isn’t happy after being demoted at Peggy’s, and new boss Penny isn’t making things any easier as she lords it over her. Things go from bad to worse when Chelsea and Bernie see a ‘For Sale’ sign has gone up at No.1. They discover that Gray is selling up, which means they will soon be homeless.
9. Callum gets cold feet
Honey takes a downbeat Callum for a drink and advises him to live his life and go out for a night with Johnny. Callum decides she’s right but there’s trouble when Billy comments that it hasn’t taken him long to move on from Ben. Callum is left horrified at his accusation.
10. Harvey and Jean in the firing line
Alfie and Tommy enjoy a water pistol fight on the Square, Alfie pleased to have some fun father and son time. However, when Tommy decides to target a shocked Jean and Harvey, is he set to bring more trouble to Alfie’s door?
